Tribeca Barber and Beauty School is a family run business operating since 1996. Our first Barber School opened in Manhattan and now resides in the cozy borough of Queens. Tribeca Barber and Beauty School is licensed by the New York State Department of Education. Thus, we have helped thousands of students obtain their Barber Operator (Master) and Apprentice Licenses in New York State throughout the years. Many of our alumni have grown to open up their own barber shops in the Tri-State area, building successful businesses and lives for their families.
Our Mission
Tribeca Barber & Beauty School seeks to foster the development of our students in our entire curriculum. Our mission is to help you succeed in the barbering and beauty industry. Our teaching staff is made up of a talented and creative group of professionals, assisting in teaching you the necessary skills to perfect your craft in barbering or cosmetology. As a result, you can obtain your license in NYS in the field of barbering or cosmetology.
As being part of our student, we have numerous resources in finding employment in the field or becoming your own operator. Our management staff has a combined 40 years of experience within administration and barber/beauty. Thus, we can also help you navigate the NYS Department of Licensing rules and regulations – helping you resolve all your licensing questions and issues.
